Four Corners Health Care Center is a skilled nursing
facility located in Durango. There are private pay
Medicaid licensed beds for all levels of care including
a special Alzheimers Care Center. There are also Medicare
beds and inpatient and out patient therapy services
at the facility. Four Corners Health Care Center provides
physical, occupational and speech therapy services.

Currently,
construction of a new 212,000-square-foot Mercy Regional
Medical Center is moving along on schedule. Construction
is also progressing on the medical office building,
which is adjacent to the hospital and will house several
physician practices and hospital administrative offices.
Steel construction on the medical office building
is in full swing, and the 155,000-square-foot building
is expected to be complete prior to the hospital’s
opening in June of 2006.

San Juan Basin Health offers a variety and medical-related
services at low or no cost. Services available in
Spanish and English.
San Juan Basin Health's Prenatal Clinic and Prenatal
Plus program provide prenatal medical care, teaching,
support services including dietician and medical social
worker services as needed, R.N., case management,
and newborn home visits for Medicaid eligible and
up to 185 percent poverty level uninsured. Additionally,
the center offers family planning for prenatal clinic
patients, teens, and others who cannot afford or do
not have access to other Family Planning Services.

psychiatric services for the Durango area. This facility
has professional mental health workers as well as
a staff psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse.
